Designed as a one-piece welded assembly for added strength over multiple piece designs, Mopar® Hitch Receivers match your vehicle`s towing capacity/uses when properly equipped. Covered with two-layered, E-coated paint finish to resist rust. All Mopar® hitches pass FCA US LLC extensive road testing for durability and strength.
Additional Details: Receiver Hitch, Production, 3,600 lb. tow rating, 360 lb. tongue weight when equipped with NMR (Heavy Duty Radiator), 1,500 lb. tow rating, 150 tongue weight when equipped with NHA (standard engine cooling), 2 receiver opening. Note that additional parts and/or modifications may be required. Base models without a valance (having sales code ML2) also require part number 82219030. Models with a valance (having sales code ML9) also require part number 68284019AB. If equipped with XZ2 (Hands Free Lift Gate Sensor), part numbers 68275630AD and 06511242AA will also be required. Not compatible with PHEV models (sales coded XDQ, or body model RUE).

The controller and status display are mounted in the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel, and the included control lever can activate the trailer brakes independent of the truck`s brakes. Drivers can customize the amount of brake force the trailer uses, depending on load requirements.

Disclosure(s): Before ordering the Mopar Integrated Trailer Brake Module (ITBM) kit, it is necessary to check if the vehicle has both trailer brake module connectors. These connectors are located under left side of the steering column. Both connecters are 4 pin connectors. If both connecters are not present the ITBM kit cannot be added to the vehicle.
Mounting brackets provide a place to cleanly mount your wiring connectors. Connector adapters convert 7 way connectors to 4 way for light duty trailer use.
Additional Details: 2 Ball-Pintle Combination Ball is ideal for heavy-duty towing. The hook has a 16,000 lb. gross towing rating, and the ball has a 14,000 lb. rating. Included is a locking pin to secure the pintle hook in place
